A logo design can take months, years or even decades to develop into a memorable brand identity. Just like the evolution of human beings, famous logos have their own evolution that tells their visual journey. As a logo designer, it is extremely helpful to study how renowned brands have developed their company logos since their inception.

While going through the creation and development of several illustrious brand identities, an amusing thought ran through my mind. One of the most admired superheroes of all-time, Superman, is now bestowed with a new logo design. Yes folks, the legendary superhero that most of idolized during our childhood will now be represented with an invigorated Superman logo in the next movie sequel ‘Man of Steel’. Even though the movie is set to be released in 2012, the new Superman logo has been unveiled on the Facebook page in order to create hype and publicity of the much anticipated film.

The movie ‘Man Of Steel’ is being directed by Zack Snyder (renowned for his epic films ‘300’ and ‘Dawn of The Dead’) and casts Henry Cavill as the legendary Clark Kent (Superman) alongside Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Kevin Costner and Diane Lane as Jonathan and Martha Kent and Michael Shannon as the evil General Zod.
